- WHY? -- We're raising funds so we can keep ticket prices as low as possible, while continuing to fund lots of art, and still afford the necessities.
- WHAT IS "IGNITE"? -- Ignite! is a ~700 person burn that takes place every Spring over Memorial Day weekend at the end of May. It's nestled in a temperate rainforest in the Virginia mountains, about 2.5 hours from the Triangle. See more details about the burn at https://ignite-burn.com
- WTF IS A "BURN"? -- It's kinda like a festival, but better - it's run by volunteers, there's no money, and people follow the 10 Principles of Burning Man: https://burningman.org/about/
*** COVID Policy ***
We strongly encourage all attendees to wear a KN95 or N95 mask indoors when possible at the fundraiser. We will have a limited number of backup masks at the entrance to the event.
We will not require a negative COVID test to enter, and we will not ask anyone to leave if they are not wearing a mask, but we do ask folks to please be considerate - COVID and other respiratory diseases are still affecting our communities, and we all play a part in reducing transmission.
If you prefer to be outside, The Fruit has an outdoor patio next to the Warehouse where you can still hear the music.
